What are the core skills of the Grapeworker team and its network?
Jens Heinemeyer operates as the chief consultant and CEO of Grapeworker. His knowledge routes back to the year 1984 where he started with an apprenticeship to become a winemaker with the degree „Winzer“. From 1986 – 1991 he studied viticulture and œnology at the Geisenheim University. The passion for wine and the experience of the practical side „how it works“ drives him for more than three decades now. A permanent passion to educate young wine professionals is an integral part of the work spirit. The young wine professionals complete the manpower for the consulting projects. They may infuse practical production processes or they may seek for knowledge for the specific project winemaking process. Study projects or thesis works happen to be the extract of a project evaluation. |
The
highest benefit with a mandate for Grapeworker can be achieved by the use of
the generalist alignment of the consulting company. A major focus is the
creation of wine productions where the owners find their identity and at the
same time and with the same importance can expect a return on investment. |
The production of fine wines by respecting the natural processes of biology, chemistry and physics describes a major expertise of Grapeworker.
The guideline is to benefit from the knowledge of the science of œnology which not majorly implies the use of ingredients and treatments. This also includes the introduction of organic cultivation concepts where the application of scientific knowledge and nature processes define the standard.
